        What is d'ARC Arts?

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart"
-Helen Keller

Aileen Rivera Cinquemani is a New York artist who specializes in acrylic artwork. Her still life, cityscape, landscape, and abstract work takes root in darkness and emerges in light. d'ARC Arts is affordable and beautiful, alive and introspective.

Aileen is also visually impaired.

A member of The Blind Artists Society  (blindartistssociety.com) since 2010, Aileen hopes to spread the message that art is a force felt entriely with the heart. Regardless of disability, art allows everyone the ability to feel deeply, be moved and touched by emotions and memory, connect with others and discover new ideas.  Art is  food for the soul, not just the eyes.

Invictus
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
-William Ernest Henley
